Financial Information

We have changed to a fiscal year as of 7/1/18 in order to conform with other libraries in the San Mateo County Library System.   The new Fiscal Year begins July 1 and ends June 30.  Therefore we had a ‘Short Year’ from 1/1/18 through 6/30/18 (6 mo).   We began our first fiscal year 7/1/18, ending 6/30/19.

The Pie Charts below represent a combined ‘Short Year’ (6 mo) and Fiscal Year (12 mo).


INCOME:   January 1, 2018 – June 30, 2019 – (18 months) — TOTAL $27,381.

This includes 2 June book sales, 2018 and 2019.  Donations and Fog Fest Income decreased.


EXPENSES:  January 1, 2018 – June 30, 2019 – (18 months) — TOTAL $33,141.

Increases were City of Pacifica Beautification, Book Shelves and Bins for Book Storage, and QuickBooks 2019 for treasurer.

LIBRARY PROGRAMS:  January 1, 2018 – June 30, 2019 – (18 months) — TOTAL $29,005.

We increased funding for Library Programs during this period.
