The San Mateo County Library has requested, as they transition
to a new normal, that Friends’ groups support programs and
materials for youth and adults, staff development and
appreciation, along with continuing to support online programs
for everyone in their own and neighboring communities. With
this in mind, Pacifica Friends of the Library has received a Request for Funds for f/y
2021-2022 as follows:
- Children’s Programs and Services Includes outreach
events, Take and Make kits, and giveaway books.
$5,000. - Adult Programs and Services Includes author events,
giveaway books, and materials for programs.
$5,000. - Staff Development and Appreciation Includes staff
development, Pitch-It, and appreciation activities.
$2,500
Total Request $12,500

This Request for Funds will be taken from the $19,000 balance in Pacifica Libraries balance at SMCL which will leave a new balance of $6,500.
