2018 – Winter/Spring: January – May

For the months of January – May 2018, the following programs and services are funded by the Pacifica Friends of the Library:  (For this time period the total the Friends donated to the Library for these programs and services was $6,330.)

For example: The library partnered with the Pacifica Beach Coalition and distributed copies of the book “Garbology” at the Surf Movie and at the libraries.  In March and April they will present a series of programs related to the book’s theme and the program will culminate with a community service project on Earth Day.

For adults, programs will include Quilled Earrings, Hearts on Canvas, cooking brunch, cooking jambalaya for Mardi Gras, garden pruning, and they will continue the extremely popular painting programs.

For children and families they will have a Book to Action Fantastic Trash program as well as Circus of Smiles, Lunar New Year and a new STEAM program series on Monday afternoons.  And the very popular After School Hangouts and Family Movie nights will continue.
