For the months of July through December, the following programs and services will be funded by the Pacifica Friends of the Library.  The total funded is $7725

CHILDREN/FAMILY:  $3500

  • Refreshments and Supplies: $1400
  • Middle School and Family Book Club Books: $850

CHILDREN/FAMILY PROGRAMS PLANNED: Steam program supplies; Storytime supplies; Crafts supplies; Movie Night refreshments; Hangout Food and Supplies; Comic Workshop; Beginners Ballet; Happy Birds (Oct); Holiday Magic Show; Family Book Club Books; Middle School Book Club Books.

TEEN:  $1400

  • Middle School Book Club Books: $850
  • Refreshments and Supplies: $550

TEEN PROGRAMS PLANNED:  Middle School Book Club Books; Book Club Refreshments.

ADULT: $2100

  • Programs: $1500
  • Refreshments and Supplies: $600

ADULT PROGRAMS PLANNED:  Painting; and To Be Determined.

LIBRARY STAFF TEAM BUILDING: $500

OTHER:  $225

May 2019:  The libraries wrapped up another successful school year.  They began offering Bookmobile service at Ingrid B Lacy Middle School in January and expanded our Middle School book clubs to all four public middle schools.  Also offered were weekly STEAM after school programs at Sanchez and after school hangout and homework help weekly at Sharp Park.
